Hey there, fellow bloggers and enthusiasts! Today, I’m excited to share my journey on how I transformed my blog from a traffic zero to a whopping 70k visitors by the end of November 2023.

It’s been quite a ride, and I’m eager to spill the beans on how I unlocked the potential of Google Discover to drive massive traffic to my blog.

Let’s rewind a bit to October 2023 when I decided to kick things up a notch. Armed with a year-old domain and zero traffic, I committed myself to the cause, posting two blogs daily. Here’s where the magic began.

I took a page from the playbook of my smaller competitors, those with a Domain Rating (DR) of 20 or below. Why? Well, they were in the same boat as me — small players with traffic.

It dawned on me that conquering the search engine rankings is a gradual process, and starting with competitors at my level was the key.

Learn from your neighbors, right?

The first step was analyzing their backlink strategy using tools like SEMrush and Ahrefs. I replicated their links but made sure to do it even better. It’s not about quantity; it’s about quality.

Learning from the best in the field, but adapting and improving, was my mantra.

Then came the keyword game. I cheekily borrowed their keywords, improved upon them, and voila! My chances of ranking soared. It’s all about outshining your competition in every possible way.

Now, let’s talk Google Discover.

The secret sauce? Consistency and trending topics.

I observed that if my blog generated over 5k daily traffic, articles on trending topics within my niche began featuring on Google Discover.

Bingo! My blog hit the Discover jackpot with the second blog following this pattern.

As of now, my blog is raking in 3k-4k clicks from Google Discover, proving it to be a goldmine of traffic. On the regular Google Search front, I’m hitting around 5k clicks per day, and the numbers have skyrocketed since the start of December 2023.
